We were honored to have been selected from a highly competitive field for the new UIC Center for the Arts as a part of the OMA & KOO team. The new Center will be located at the northeast corner of the campus near the intersection of Halsted and Harrison and will become an iconic gateway for the University at the interface between the West Loop and the East Campus. The design leaned heavily into musical metaphors that found unique expression in the team’s winning solution.
