Living Habitats is honored to be a member of the Obama Presidential Center (OPC) design team creating this historic center for the 44th president of the United States. The Obama Presidential Center, located in historic Jackson Park on the side of Chicago, will serve as a hub for community civic engagement and will embody the Obama Presidency.

The design for the campus landscape provides programming for all ages and seasons, including a community vegetable garden, plaza and entry grove, a renovation of the Historic Women’s Garden, winding wooded paths, wetland walk, lagoon grove, sledding hills, lawn spaces, plazas, and world-class playground.
