The Living Habitats team work to weave coir logs around salvaged concrete blocks, which will eventually become vegetated block assemblies. Coir serves as the planting media for aquatic vegetation to gain position on the lee side of the breakwaters, eventually encouraging it to migrate out onto the surrounding lakebed.
