Rae joined Living Habitats in 2022 as a landscape designer after graduating with an MLA from the University of Oregon and a BS from the University of Michigan. She worked as a residential landscape designer in West Michigan prior to graduate school and prioritized the incorporation of native species in gardens. She enjoys large-scale, ecologically focused projects that prioritize resilience and multi-purpose functionality. With design experience stemming from educational experiences in both the Midwest and Pacific Northwest, she utilizes in-depth research to produce designs that balance ecology and aesthetics. At Living Habitats, Rae uses her graphic skills to uniquely represent projects and collaborate with the Living Habitats team.
