Jessica Gonzalez

Jessica joined Living Habitats in 2022 as landscape designer, with an MLA from the University of Oregon, a BS in Horticulture with a focus in ecological landscape and urban forestry from Oregon State University, and nearly 10 years in the Oregon nursery industry. Jessica brings her passion and enthusiasm for environmental and social justice, ecological design, and resilient landscapes to her work. Through her studies and intensive work with Landscape for Humanity, Jessica has worked with transitional housing communities, non-profits, and municipalities on design build and community engagement projects in the Pacific Northwest.

Jessica brings a research-by-design approach to the Living Habitats team, as well as a contagious enthusiasm for ecologically responsive design that is both aesthetic and functional.
