Landscape Architect

Becky joined Living Habitats in 2021, bringing almost a decade of experience working on thoughtful and innovative design projects across the U.S. From regional parks in the Texas Hill Country to infill development in downtown Boston, her approach has always centered on understanding and responding to the ecological, historic, and community context of the site. In each place she has lived and worked, Becky has immersed herself in research, volunteering, and engagement, strengthening her connection to place and further informing her practice. Born and raised in Wisconsin, she is excited to leverage her national experience to champion public open space and the civic commons here in the Great Lakes Region.

At Living Habitats, Becky employs her aptitude for visual communication and leadership to facilitate collaboration within the studio, serving as a critical link between firm principals and design staff. With patience, good humor, and a critical eye, she coordinates efforts across disciplines and engages community members and stakeholders throughout each project, delivering quality design with a lasting impact.
