Neal Marsh Bird Monitoring

Living Habitats in association with Judy Pollock, bird conservation expert, is providing bird monitoring and reporting for Wetlands Research Incorporated in support of their aspirations to become a regional birding destination. Significant restoration has occurred at Neal Marsh and resulting habitat creation has supported many interesting bird species both residing at and migrating through the site. Mid-term goals include creating a viewing tower, boardwalk and bird blinds in key locations throughout the parcel. As a form of targeted support services, Living Habitats generated sketch graphics to share in early discussions about the potential to add these birding structures in various locations throughout the parcel.
