Estello received his undergraduate degree from Vassar College in 2014 where he majored in biology and minored in English with a focus on race and ethnic studies.

He is currently a student at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design where his interests intersect at design work that is ecologically sensitive, socially pragmatic, and representationally projective.

In the summer of 2017 Estello was also awarded the Penny White Project Fund to complete original research that cognitively maps the social appropriation of public park spaces in Beijing, China.
